Semester 6: Industrial placement
Duration: 4 months, from April to July
Activity: Technician on production site
Objectives:
- Transmission of the job knowledge, of the work methods and of the engineering culture
- Knowledge of the company and of the executive responsibilities
- Integration in an organized group
- Communication skills
- Technical competences
Specificity of the binational option: The French students of the curriculum perform a German-speaking industrial placement and the German students perform a French-speaking industrial placement.
Semester 8: Industrial placement
Duration: 5 months, from March to July
Activity: Engineering assistant – To carry out the responsibilities of the monitoring of a workshop on the production and the development of a technical project
Objectives:
- Approach of the job of a production facilitator, coordinator and manager
- Acquisition of technical knowledge about the processes and the materials
Semester 10: final project of the engineer school
Duration: 5.5 months, from April to September
Activity: Final industrial project
Objectives: To strengthen the future engineer’s technical-scientific and managerial competences in professional situations.
